london
Today is friday, and my shag buddy told me I might get some bargains if i go to the local tesco near where he lives. We had finished our sex session. I had dinner at his place too, and had earlier walked to his flat via battersea, to buy 50p tomatoes in a corner shop and 39p iceberg lettuce in lidl, but mainly to top up my asda mobile pay-as- you- go sim card at the asda supermarket there. There was a promotion with slices of cheese on toast being given out and a competition to enter.
I walked through two parks ( battersea park and clapham common) and did not get any hay fever. I wonder why. I was sneezing away in the country when i visited david, and i was not even near any field, whilst here I am in central london walking through all this grass, and no hay fever. It's a hot day but cloudy.
I wonder how lidl can sell those iceberg lettuce for half what my tesco/sainsbury is selling. And the local corner shop can sell 6 tomatoes for 50p. That might explain why tesco/sainsbury is making so much profit. What is surprising is why so many still shop there when they can get cheaper veg at lidl, or corner shops, or market stalls. I wonder why i dont do it. I can only conclude it is the convenience. Tesco, sainburys are everywhere. That is where these two supermarkets have an edge over their rivals. And from what i hear with sainsbury asking for money from investors to set up more branches, their dominance will continue.
Anyway, I did get some bargains at the tesco. Danish bacon 220mg £3( which is too high in my opinion) reduced to 45p. I bought 3 packs. A carton of 6eggs for 22p. We allready had lots of eggs so i bought only one pack. There was mince beef 500mg reduced to £1.65. I did not buy it, as it is still too high for me as i m looking for it to be 60p. I wonder whether it is possible to get it at that price now.
Tesco must be running a big sale of £2 chickens because this store also had lots of them on sale. I daresay the advertisement for it had allready appeared in the Sun or daily mirror.
My friend was right about the friday crowd, so many were going out on the town all the bars along the high street were crowded, but not the pubs off the main street. There was one of these pubs tried to get more business by having a pretty girl standing at the corner giving out leaflet for free ichiban beer . She gave me one, but since i did not fancy drinking beer, i gave it to a couple who were walking towards me, and i told them of it.
